Sheila and her staff are not only incredibly professional, but they make you feel at home while you're waiting and while you're in the chair. They also take their time to walk you through the kinds of procedures that are best for you at a particular time given your situation.

Dr. Dobee is also committed to holistic health and improving the way you live - our teeth/mouth is just part of the whole story and I love the fact that she takes that approach in a dental practice.

She also redid a crown for me that feels like a real tooth, replacing one that was badly done a couple of years ago.

Thumbs up. I highly recommend her -- it's even worth the drive from San Francisco.......

Dr Shelia Dobee is great about providing pro-active ways to take care of your mouth and her approach/demeanor is wonderful. She runs a great practice and has great staff. They are professional, courteous and I feel like they really care about me. They make my experience of going to the stress-free and actually enjoyable! They have headsets and special movie watching glasses that let you watch movies during the procedures, so you feel like you are at the movies and you get your teeth done, great experience.

Dr Dobee is the gentlest dentist I have ever been to. She is very patient kind and understanding. I have referred several of my co-workers to her including my boss I have complete trust in her. Her office takes good care of billing my insurance and I never have to question anything. They also follow up to make sure that I am scheduling appointments when I am supposed to. They make sure I don't feel a thing with my extreme sensitive teeth (especially during cleanings).

It has taken me 12 years to find a wonderful dentist like Dr. Dobee and I feel very fortunate to find this gem of a practice.

The advances in technology pleasantly surprised me since I last visited the dentist. They spend time instructing you in good dental care, and preventive measures. She also explains what she is doing during procedures. I recommend Dr. Dobee without reservation. If you have been avoiding the dentist, as I did, please go soon its really has got 100% better.

Dr Dobee is a painless dentist I have always been embrassed about my smile. When I was small my parents did not have dental insurance so my teeth have been neglected. Dr Dobee has been so understanding and non judgemental. i have always been scared of going to the dentist .Her staff are really nice and they have held my hand through the whole process . I have had 3 implants placed and 12 veeners ( the lumineers that are very very thin so she did not have to shave my teeth ) my smile is so beautiful that just writing this makes me smile and emotional !! I LOVE DR DOBEE SHE IS GOD SENT!!!! My confidence has skyrocked ..and it all started at the dentist office.who would have thought?

I found Dr. Dobee through this site and I'm so glad I did! Her office environment and staff make me feel very comfortable and relaxed before my treatment appointments. The thing I appreciate the most is Dr. Dobee's genuine concern for me as a patient and looking out for what's best for me given my situation. Dr Dobee is a really great dentist, no pain and her work is really natural. I love going to her office as her staff are so friendly and welcoming. Her payment plans are very resonable which means that you can afford getting work done. She always gives you options and does what is best for the patient even if it is a much cheaper option. My last dentist gave me a quote for over ten thousand dollars in veeners. dr Dobee said we could place cosmetic bonding to make the teeth look better .I went for that option and i am so happy. My teeth look beautiful and I spent a fraction of the price. She could have easily sold me on a higher priced option but she didnt as she knew that the cosmetic bonding would work. I really respect her for being so honest.

Dr. Dobee is an amazing dentist! Forget about the days of pain and drilling. She is young, so she can actually see what she she is doing, not blinding grinding away at your tooth. She has state of the art technology too, not too mention that she is friendly and funny.

I wouldn't think of going to anyone else. I feel like I can trust her. Believe me, I don't have perfect teeth. She is understanding and listens to what I want, and let's me know the story. Her rates are reasonable too (a big plus).

Dr. Dobee is an outstanding dentist - her professional and personal attention leave me confident and relaxed anytime I visit.

She has incredible attention to detail, is caring and patient, and does absolutely beautiful work. Dr. Dobee replaced a crown that another dentist put on a few years ago. She noticed that the crown could have a better fit - and her crown is great! I rarely remember that I even have a crown. She also gave me a series of deep cleanings that helped curb potential gum damage. My gums are now far more healthy, making me less self-conscious.

I love feeling like I am visiting a trusted friend, and not just a dentist!

I always get nervous with dentists. I recently had an infection in my gums under one of my teeth. My prior dentist and the specialist she referred me to suggested that I extract the tooth and get an implant immediately. I really felt like there had to be some alternatives. I visited Dr. Dobee for a second opinion and she explained everything very clearly, even drawing some pictures to really help me understand what was going on. In the end, Dr. Dobee said that there's a chance that I will have to extract the tooth at some point in the future, but that it wasn't absolutely necessary at the moment.

I think we've all experienced the anxiety of taking our car to the mechanic to get work done and not really being certain that they're being completely honest with the work they're recommending. I think this issue of trust is even more important with doctors and dentists.

Here's what is the greatest thing about Dr. Dobee, she's someone you can trust. You really really get the sense that she genuinely cares about you as a person and her interests are 100% aligned with yours.

I highly recommend Dr. Dobee. Perhaps start out simple and check her out for a cleaning just to get a sense of who she is?

Dr. Dobee is by far and away the best dentist I have ever had. When I asked her about braces, she took impressions and decided that I would require specialist orthodontic treatmenrt. She took my impressions to a conference and got a number of expert opinions and the referred me to an orthodontist at a University in San Francisco. The treatment is going really well and I'll be forever grateful to Dr. Dobee for going the extra mile to help me.

It's very easy to be in Dr. Dobee's chair. She has a wonderful chair-side manner . She's funny. She's gorgeous ;-) She's English (that's a plus for me) and has a very friendly staff. Her office is bright and cheerful. She is very careful and thorough in her work, uses top quality materials, is skilled and gentle, and I've never had a problem after any of her treatments. I really can't say enough good things about her.

I had been seeing my x-dentist for quite a few years with each unhappy visit. I tried and hoped he will do better next time. The next time never come! Earlier last year, I started to search online. Among my search, Dr. Dobee came out on top of all. The most rated and the most satisfied dentist in this region.

We decided to give a try. The actual result we had with Dr. Dobee for over a year speaks laughter than any words. We are very happy with Dr Dobee and her clinic's service, and we are very happy to know her personally. Dr. Dobee is AWESOME! After being without dental insurance for two years, I saw another dentist to have my first cavity filled. The experience was anything but pleasant, and left me feeling extremely anxious about the dentist. Dr. Dobee has come to the rescue, filling 3 cavities (that's what insurance is for!) and deep cleaning. She even filled in this ugly dent in a tooth (three other dentists never even suggested doing so!) I have since recommended her to two colleagues who continue to see her and have excellent service. If you want to have not just excellent dental care, but a great time in the process, Dr. Dobee is THE ONE. She's passionate about her craft, as well as her patients. I cannot say enough about her!

I was in severe need of dental care, but after having had several bad experiences with local dentists I was a bit gun-shy about going. I knew I needed to find a dentist that not only could provide competent dental care, but also had the ability to repair faulty and aging dentalwork, shifting teeth, and advancing gum issues. Someone who made me feel confident that my once beautiful smile would be restored and I wouldn't end up with what looked like a mouth full of big ol'white chicklets. I needed not only a dentist, but an artist. Someone actually certified in cosmetic dentistry, not just a provider of cosmetic services.

After reading many reviews I decided to give Dr. Dobee a call. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. When you enter her office you are immediately put at ease by her warm and friendly staff. The office itself provides a relaxed and comfortable feeling while being spotlessly clean.

You won't get alot of reading done, in her office, unless you show up incredibly early for your appointment, as Dr. Dobee schedules her day so you are never left cooling your heels in the reception area or with the feeling of being rushed. She and her staff take an interest in you as an individual person not just a client. Which is a nice change from the "here's your hat, what's your hurry" feeling you get from alot of other medical/dental professionals.

If you are looking for a wonderful dentist for yourself and/or your family give Dr. Dobee a call. It just may be one of the best decisions you'll make, too.

I first met Dr Dobee after spending 2 years of extremely poor dental service. I had a partial that didn't fit, a bridge that had been removed and not repaired properly.

In 3 visits, Dr Sheila Dobee created a new partial that from day one, fit like a glove. Her dentistry is painless and it is like visiting a friend. She is interested in my life as well as my mouth.

In addition to being a wonderful dentist, she is a good humanitarian in her work with poor, uninsured children. She organized a group of dentists to give pro bono care for these children; thus reaching even more children.

I consider Dr Dobee as my dentist AND my friend. Her staff are always extremely helpful with payment plans as well as courtesy/ reminder calls. If you are dissatisfied with your current dentist, you can't go wrong with Dr Dobee.

Dr. Dobee is a very nice dentist and human being. I have never had a dentist that took care of me and my child as she did. I am also sure she never had anybody like me either, (well that's what she told me) i always needed around 4-5 shots just to get a little numb, but she was very patient with me. About 2 1/2 years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Dobee. I just had my braces removed and needed my teeth cleaned, whitened and a few fillings done.

Since then I have been a regualr patient and do not plan on going anywhere else. Dr Dobee made me feel welcome in her office right away.

She is kind and caring. I have never told Dr. Dobee. But I have a fear of oral shots. With her sense of humor and the fact she is gentle. I soon became comfortable and had only a little anxiety.

As I am a down to earth and easy going. I am greatful for the way Dr Dobee treats her patients. Not as a business , but as a person and would be proud enough to call her a friend.

Dr Dobee and her staff are very professional and caring. They have worked with me when I have needed to be seen. She has my respect and I am glad she is my dentist.

If your looking for a new dentist, please take the time to do yourself a favor. Go see Dr Dobee, she is down to earth and easy going, professional , caring and gentle. About Hygienist: Last month I had seen the new Hygienist for the first time. She was polite and friendly as I would expect from Dr Dobee office. I have had other Hygienist in the past (at other dental offices) that truly casued me pain and discomfort.

To my surprise ! She was very gentle and talked with me when we could. The Hygienist gave me excellent care ! I would go back to her again with out doubt or fear!

I was looking for a good cosmetic dentist for about a year to do my front crowns before I found Dr. Dobee through a personal referral and I'm so glad I did! She is very knowledgeable and has a natural talent for doing cosmetic dental work - I would say she is the equivalent of Picasso in her field!

I first went to Dr. Dobee for an emergency visit when my tooth broke. Even though she had a busy schedule she made time to see me the same day! The office staff was very welcoming and I felt comfortable the moment I walked in. Prior to this, I was not very good about going to the dentist regulary, only when I had a problem. Dr. Dobee got me on a hygiene program and thanks to that, I have much healthier teeth now.

Dr. Dobee is amazing. If you need a fantastic dentist you MUST visit Dr. Dobee. She is conveniently located off of 880 in Fremont. She is extremely kind, gentle and professional. You will not feel as though you are having dental work done. Even my 5 year old looks forward to visiting Dr. Dobee. That is a testament to how gentle she is.

I have to have a lot of dental work completed due to a horrible dentist that butchered my mouth. Stay out of Los Altos if you are seeking a dentist. Dr. Dobee has been my angel. She has been taken care of me with such great care and grace and during my most recent pregnancy. If you know anything about being pregnant in the latter months having s dentist poke around in your mouth is not on the top list of things to do. She was so gentle that I was not in any pain or uncomfortable. She had to work on 3 crowns during my pregnancy. She has allowed me to make payments so that I don't feel the pain of a $4500 bill.

My entire nuclear family visits Dr. Dobee. She is so great that my extended family drives from Woodside (which is 30 minutes away) to visit Dr. Dobee as their dentist. In a nut shell she is AWESOME!!!!!

My husband and I moved to Reno about 2 years ago . We tried several dentists in the area and did not find any dentist even half as good as Dr Dobee. Her compassion and quality of care is so unique that we still drive down to see her twice a year. She almost becomes your therapist and friend as you end up confinding in her as she truely cares about you. Dr. Dobee is the very best. I used to live in Fremont, but have since moved to San Francisco for the past two years. I didn't leave my dentist though, for many reasons. When I first called Dr Dobee's office to enquire about Dr Dobee her front desk told be how good she was with patients like me . I booked a free appointment to meet her and I was really impressed. Dr Dobee did my invisable braces for me. My teeth were very out of place and yellow stained. I had a quote for over $12,000 from my last dentist who wanted to cut my teeth down and put crowns on the front.

Dr Dobee gave me all the possible options and she was honest about the treatment I should have. I ended up spending about half as much as I thought I needed to . She gave me a really conservative and cost friendly treatment option (that my last dentist had not ).I really apprecated the honesty. I am really happy with my smile and I am really happy with Dr Dobee. Front desk was really good at dealing with my insurance and the assistant is really nice.

EXCELLENT dentist!

Dr Dobee really cares about her patients , she always puts your needs first. If its a anxiety issue she takes time to explain the procedure and ease your fears she has 'special juice' that make the procedure pretty pain free. She lets me do a 12 month interest free plan to help me out. She also has called me on her time off to make sure that I am doing well.

I really like her personality as she always has a smile on her face and makes you feel special, she never is in a rush and gives you a lot of time. Her office is really nice and very tidy and sterile.

Dr Dobee is a really good dentist. She is very gentle . I have been to a lot of dentists and now that I have found Dr Dobee I am never going to see anyone else but her. I have had a lot of dental work done by her. I have done 2 implants and 8 veeners for my front teeth. The produres were pain free and I am really happy with the cosmetic results. DR DOBEE IS FANTASTIC! When I first went to visit Dr Dobee I had not been to a dentist in almost 3 years. The reason I had not been in so long was because of a bad experience with my previous dentist. She made me feel welcome and was very up front with the work I needed done. When I first came to see Dr. Dobee I was extremely afraid of going to the dentist. I was afraid of the needles, the treatment, the cost everything! As with all people going to the dentist is not something to look forward to or even like. Which is why I havent been for a while. The time came to see the dentist and I was surprised how things have changed her office is calming.......but they still have big needles. Went in for a cleaning and was told I needed my wisdom teeth pulled...OUCH!. Had to make another appointment went in and had one pulled. It took less time than doing all the insurance paperwork. Based on what I was told by other people I would be in pain for days. Not the case I was eating within an hour with no pain. Still have to go back for an additional follow up.

Overall Dr.Dobee and her staff are great to work with. You can tell she is very passionate about her work which shows in her treatment. I would recommend her to friends and family.

Dr. Dobee is a very caring Dentist. She is very professional and very friendly.

I have been to two other Dentists in Fremont. Having been treated by Dr. Dobee for nearly a year. I can honestly say she is the best dentist I have seen.

She is very good at diagnosing a potential problem before it becomes a major disaster in your mouth! In the past I have had fillings and crowns break not due to poor oral hygiene but due to lack of proactive dental care on the dentist's part.

The Office facilities are very well maintained, clean, with the latest equipment. It was something that was greatly lacking in my previous"1970"'s Dentist office.

The office staff is very warm and friendly. Janelle at the front desk is very happy to answer any questions you may have.

I love the homelike atmosphere. The office is located in the Glenmoor neighborhood. It makes you feel as if you were going to visit a friend instead of a Dentist's office

Dr. Dobee goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and give an expereince with the least amout of pain during those dreaded drillings.

If you have a hesitation in calling a Dentist. Please do not wait, call Dr. Dobee, she will make your mouth look and feel great!

Dr Dobee is the best dentist that I have ever had she is highly personable and I love that she has a great outlook on life, its always sunshine when I visit her office. Her assistants are highly knowledgeable and friendly and I feel like they know me personally. Dr Dobee is highly skilled she uses the best products and she is painless! I feel that my mouth is so much better after seeing her than any other dentist I have seen my whole life. I had some really nasty cavities and I lot of amalgam filings from having soft teeth my whole life and now my mouth looks so perfect you would never be able to tell that I have had any major dental work. Dr Dobee is great, she knows my fears & anxiety levels & gives me breaks as I need it, sometimes every 30 seconds!!

We chat & get to know each other, she treats me with care & respect, yet gets the job done. She makes me feel like I am her only patient.

I have been a patient of Dr Dobee for over 5 years, she has always delivered a very high standard of care to my family and I. Dr Dobee is a very compassionate dentist . We first started going to Dr Dobee when my child who was then 7 had a dental swelling on her face and I was not able to get hold of my dentist as it was a Sunday. Both my wife and I were really worried as her face was swollen to the point she could not open her eye. I was always nervous about going to a Dentist as I had been to couple of them before and had bad experience. Two years ago, I had problem with my tooth, I when to Dr Dobee's Clinic to give another try to a dentist as I did not have a choice. I was first very flatted to see that, she would take her time to explain all I should know about the procedure, she did not focus on the monetary part as many other Dentist convey. Her main concern was the well being of her patients topped by her great sense of humor to make you feel comfortable. I felt like I was home with my family. I recently switched to Dr. Dobee a few months ago after problems with my last dentist. I would always have long wait times with my previous Dentist even though I had an appointment set up. Dr. Dobee on the other hand has provided excellent, timely services. I usually just go in for general teeth cleaning and she most definitely gets the job done. We moved out of state and could not find a dentist even half as great as she is so we make special trips down to see her.

Dr. Dobee has got to be the hands down greatest dentist one can have. Bold statement? Considering her flawless perfectionism in cleaning, repairing and cosmetically beautifying with a ninja-like precision, there is no higher level one can achieve in said profession. Couple this with an almost "daytime-talkshow" talent in conversation she provides which alleviates any and all stresses in this impeccable utopian Fremont neighborhood and you have something rivaling an experience at a day-spa (Home & Garden magazine can photograph this place). What about the nuts and bolts? Only until asking the deep questions did I learn this Dentist is alumnus in the highest honors from arguably the most prestigious dental school in the world! My final hesitation came and went after learning the materials and composites she uses are purposely of the highest quality out of her pocket, especially when other dentists get away with the cheapest/high-profit production they can get away with. Rhetorically one can say, "Your grill is special, why go for a Kia or Ford when you can see the Ferrari of dentists?"

Dr. Dobee has been my dentist for over 4 years now. At first I was scared to go to Dentists. However, she came highly recommended by a friend who is also a patient of hers. Over the years not only has she provided excellent care however, she has taught me about the importance of good oral hygiene. She makes me feel very comfortable despite my hesitation of seeing dentists. She generously uses the medicine of laughter which I believe makes her an extrordinary dentist.
