Bill G. Concord Ca. I have had a lot of dental work done over the years. When my dentist of 20 years retired I went to the Dentist my insurance co. recommended. I had no way of knowing if I was being treated fairly. I was given an estimate for over $4000.00 most of which wasn't covered by insurance. A friend of mine suggested Dr Kent Davis. Dr. Davis gave me a free second opinion. As it turned out Dr.Davis was half the price. He explained the many different options and what would be the best value. That was a year ago and now my mouth is very happy thanks to Dr. Davis. His Honesty and desire to help people is a breath of fresh air in this crazy world.

I hadn't gone to the dentist for a couple years, I was afraid because I had some bad and painful experiences in the past. But i was forced to go see one this last month and i was referred to Dr. Kent Davis. I ended up needing some procedures done so i was truly scared to death. I can honestly say, it was completely painless, I actually gave him a huge hug after my procedure, i was in shock. I had never had an experience like this at a dentists' office. Not only were he and his staff patient and accommodating to me but they have completely cured me of any fears i have ever had. He was so gentle and clean, I am still in shock. I never thought anything or anyone would cure me of my serious anxiety of the dentist and Dr. Davis was the most knowledgable, patient, and painless dentist I have ever been to and I absolutely recommend him to everyone.

Most surprising to me, I always look forward to visiting Kent and his exceptional staff. I'm one of those up-tight patients. You know, white knuckles on the arm rests! But Kent has such a gentle, reassuring way of putting me at ease. Rather remarkable, really. I always enjoy his friendly staff. You can tell they love working there, which I think is a good sign. I've been going to Dr. Davis for 10-years and while I used to be deathly afraid of dentists, I'm pretty much over it now. Kent babied me and gave me "conscious sedation" when I needed some major work. It worked - I was relaxed (I don't remember much) and I had the work done. (My husband took me home!) But it worked - it really worked.After some other work, I've actually come to the point were I'm not afraid of the dentist (well, maybe only Dr Davis) anymore. I recently had a couple of crowns put in and I didn't need any special treatment. Dr. Davis truly has a soft touch and of course, I should add that the crowns were perfect the first time around.I'm very happy to be able to write about Dr. Davis... he's truly one of the great dentists.

I had spent years avoiding dental offices. For me the word dentist meant pain and discomfort. Novocain never relayed work on my teeth just my face and then it took hours before it would ware off. I wouldn't go to a dentist unless it was an absolute emergency. One day several years ago I broke a molar. I thought if I waited long enough it would stop hurting, I was wrong. A friend mentioned that Dr. Davis didn't use the standard process for numbing teeth. So I went. I don't recall calling ahead or just showing up, but either way the moment I walked into Dr. Davis's practice a since of easy and comfort came over me. The staff came across with "Hello can I help you" and not a generic "Just one moment please". They treated me like a friend, not a task. Dr. Davis's very first concern was how to make me comfortable, not how I was going to pay. He was quick and through with his examination. He kept me informed and gave me chooses. My friend was right Dr. Davis numbed just the tooth. I never felt a thing. When he was done I was able to talk clearly and drink some water without drooling. I was so impressed I made a follow-up appointment and a cleaning that same day. I highly recommend Dr. Kent Davis to everyone

I was very discouraged when I tried to find a solution to my dental issues, after being told by UCSF I needed almost $50,000 in prostadontics. When I desided on dentures, I could not find anyone who was capable of adjusting my bite open to the appropriate level. I had a collapsed bite, an extreem overbite and TMJ. I could not find anyone who felt they could help me.Then I found Dr. Davis through a friend. He said he was willing to take my case! Though the cost was more than I had, I saved and got a loan. I still feel it was a screaming deal!I look younger, have fuller lips, and can eat without pain. His staff is absolutley wonderful. Due to the nature of my needs, I needed to go without my dentures for a short while, but they put a rush on them so I could have them for Thanksgiving!! I could never say enough about how happy I am with him and his staff. What he did was no less than a work of art!

Dr Davis is a wonderful Dentist. He accually performed a root canal on me( my first visit) with NO novacain. I could not believe that could be done, but he did. I was so impressed. Dr Davis was able to see that I had some terrible experiences with two other dentist in the south bay. He spotted the differances between the two based on the work done in my mouth. He is the Best!!!!

Dr Davis has seen myself, my wife, my four children over a period of 17 and 1/2 years. During this time, he has helped me overcome my fears of all my childhood dental traumas. But, even more important, Dr Davis has provided a consistency of dental care that has improved my mouth health, taught my children the value of dental hygiene and truly given us great smiles. I had a gap in my frontal teeth due to the loss of an eyetooth. He creatively added a crown that closed the gap and turned a tooth into what appears to be the eyetooth. Dr Davis is a very good dentist, but he is also a great judge of people and he has surrounded himself with the most service oriented, pleasant staff of any business I have been acquainted with. Dr Davis and his staff have consistently delivered a message regarding overall mouth, gum, teeth health. His vision of what is best for his customers, in my eyes have definitely stood the test of time. I am proud of his work with my mouth and I sure do recommend him.

I was going to another dentist. I had been going to him for several years. When my tooth began to hurt real bad he took some xrays and said that I needed a root canal, he had to put a crown on it too. I cant believe how painful it was. It kept hurting for days. The doctor then suggested that we do a root canal on the tooth next to the one he did. That didn't sound like a good idea to me so I asked my friend Dr Davis if I should have the other rootcanal done. Dr Davis asked me if I chewed gum, I said I did, he told me not to chew gum for 2 weeks. When I asked him what to do about the pain, he said to take some Advil, it would go away in a few days. I just didn't believe him, how could chewing gum have ANYTHING to do with my tooth that was hurting but what did I have to lose, IT WORKED! I couldn't believe it! THat was two years ago, the pain hasnt returned and I didn't need another rootcanal and crown. I sure am glad that I asked Dr Davis, he saved me a lot of money and trouble. He sure knows what he is doing.

I haven't worked for Dr. Davis for the last 3 years but I still send my family and friends to him. There is no pain from his injections. I have experienced it first hand! His technique allows him to start working immediately, no waiting while he is working on another patient, and when he is finished with the procedure you don't have that uncomfortable numbness and fat drooling feeling. It is amazing.If you need DENTURES for the first time or have problems with your current dentures this is the place. He will give you confidence in your smile and you will be able to enjoy your food once again. I have seen patients smile for the first time in a long time. It has changed their lives. I have been to other dentists and had work done before I saw Kent. He actually had to fix a crown that another dentist had done a couple years prior to meeting Kent. It had gotten decay underneath it. I was scheduled for a root canal today, so I expected to get my novocaine shots. But he suggested I try without. He said the nerve is dead so I shouldn't feel anything. I thought he was kidding. Then when he said he was serious, I got a little worried. But he was right, I didn't feel a thing. I would like to say that I am such a stud that I can handle dental work without being numb. Truth be told, I am not one to handle pain well at all. I only did it because I trust Kent's steady hand. As well as his up front and honest suggestions. Well done Doc. And I shall do my best to lay off the late night sugar filled snacks. Also I must say the whole staff is great. Asal assisted with this visit, and made sure I was comfortable with everything. Two things make me nervous: Dentists and girls. I am very comfortable with both at his office.
About Hygienist: The Hygienists are always sweet, and friendly here. They are full of information on how to improve in certain areas. I always wanted to eat an entire box of oreo cookies in the waiting room before my cleaning. So far I have restrained from doing this. :)

I first came to see Dr. Davis because I had turned to my best friend one day and told her how much I wanted my smile back. I must have conveyed my sadness to the point she talked to Dr. Davis about it. My friend told me Dr. Davis was willing to see if he could help me out and I was so happy despite my fear of dentists. I had dental work done in Southern California that removed many of my upper teeth (all but 3) and what had been put in place was terrible to say the least. My mouth looked shrunken and my lips looked small and thin. I would look at pictures of myself and wondered where that gal had gone with the great smile and full lips. Coming to your office for dental work was not only a relief but such a pleasant experience because everyone was kind and happy and most importantly you did the work you did without pain. The day I got my smile back I was so amazed and thrilled that I cried. I AM BACK!! I love to smile and do so quite alot these days. Id neglected my teeth for a number of years when I showed up at Dr. Davis office. I had with a mouth full of bad, broken and missing teeth. He recommended full dentures.He said he could extract most of my teeth on the sides, then a few days late take out my front teeth and put in dentures the same day. I was surprised, because I thought it would take weeks.He told me the extraction of my remaining teeth wouldnt hurt. I was surprised when I found out that he was telling the truth. It was uncomfortable, but it didnt hurt. (I found out later his license plate was PAINLESS.)My new teeth went in the same day my front teeth came out without a problem. With a few modifications, they fit comfortably and well. Care and maintenance is as simple as he said.For the first time in a long time I could smile l without being self-conscious about the gaps and broken teeth. People told me how much better and younger they made me look. Its sure been an image-builder for me.I cant say enough about Dr. Davis and his caring staff. I felt reassured and comfortable all the way.

"A GOD SEND" I had been working with a S. Calif. Dentist, which ended up with complication after complication on several of my teeth. After 5 months, at the suggestion of a S.
