I am very bad about going to dentists and they were so helpful and genuinely caring that I almost look forward to going again, which I shall. Everything is always great, from the ease of scheduling appointments (on the phone & through email), the front desk girls & hygienist always being so nice to Dr. Lokhandwala always making sure I am comfortable. It was truly a blessing to find Dr. Munira Lokhandwala. From the time I broke out a tooth as a child, the dentist has been a fearful place for me to go. Dr. Lokhandwala was able to ease my fear with patients and nitrous so that I could get through the work she did. We are 2 months into a front implant and I am very happy with the way things have progressed so far. Dr Lokhandwala has a great chair side manner that makes her wonderful to work with.

I like Dr. Lokhandwala because she is thorough and explains in detail my dental needs. Also I like all her high tech equipment for descerning what I need in the way of dental work and/or care. She is also concerned about a patients pain threshold and controlling pain as much as is possible. She assesses what needs to be done and develops a short and long range plan. So based on my experience as a patient, I would highly recommend Dr. Lokhandwala and her staff for dental services. They are all very good and very professional in the way they treat patients.

I've seen dental providers around the world and the Bay Area - she really does deserve high marks. I went in at 2pm for a dental implant and was driving home pain free by 2:45. My mother needed a crown and Dr. Lokhandwala and her staff were able to accomodate to our immediate need and busy schedule by treating the crown procedure all in one day (no more than two hours at the most for the whole procedure which went very well). The cost was reasonable. Dr. Lokhandwala and her staff were friendly, caring, honest, and professional. Dr. Lokhandwala and Dr. Hosseini are both technically proficient and skillful. I strongly recommend anyone to be a new patient to Dr. Lokhandwala!

I am very pleased with Dr. Lokhandwala's practice, and work. I began taking care of my dental hygiene after many years of neglect - after a root canal, a crown, and some cavity fillings within 2 years, I am cavity free and have excellent dental health. Both Dr. Lokhandwala and Dr. Hosseini are gentle and listen to their patients needs. I've been fortunate to experience both their work. I have trouble breathing through my nose, sometimes mouth due to bronchitis and don't handle the water very well, but this is not a problem at StarBrite dental as they take time to make sure I am comfortable. I have and will continue to recommend this practice to friends, family, and co-workers.

I found Starbrite Dental through the internet and thought the website was very informative and professional. I made an appointment for a consultation and was very impressed with Dr. Munira's thoroughness with the examination and her caring and compassion. She put me at ease with her gentleness. Drs. Munira and Hosseine have both worked on me to provide me with full dentures and now mini implants in the lower denture. Wow! I know this is not how most patients would describe their Dentist but I can tell you how delighted I am with Dr. Munira Lokhandwala

dentistry skills. I was looking for a Dentist to do corrective work that was done by another dentist and I was blessed to have found Dr. Munira Lokhandwala, via the internet in Fremont. Dr. Munira Lokhandwala, has excellent contemporary dentistry skills with pain reduction techniques. I needed an implant for one (1) of my teeth and I could not believe how painless this procedure was. I left Dr. Munira Lokhandwala office and drove myself back to Antioch without any discomfort.

Dr. Munira Lokhandwala, office environment and staff is pleasant and professional. Dr. Munira Lokhandwala, prices are reasonable. I have recommended Dr. Munira Lokhandwala to my daughter Raquel and I would recommend her to anyone that needs quality contemporary dentistry.

I was looking for a new dentist in Fremont after a bad experience with another dentist who had glowing reviews on Yelp. With Dr. Munira I did not find any reviews on Yelp but I did find a lot of great reviews on other sites and though she looks very young from the picture I decided to try her. The first time I went to her, she took my x-rays and came up with a treatment plan and patiently explained to me why a certain treatment was required. She spoke to me about my budget and how much I could afford to spend this year and priorotized treatment accordingly. This was something that impressed me the most cause she respected my financial situation and was willing to work with me. She told me upfront that I needed a crown and a few re-fillings and what the cost would be. In just 1 month, she did my crown and 5 other teeth. Dr. Munira is very skilled, dedicated and quick with an experience of 17+ years (Dont let her looks fool you).She did a great job with my teeth and my bite was perfect everytime. She and her staff are very friendly and appointments are easy to get. Good dentists are difficult to find and I almost did not want to share her. But reviews have helped me before and I hope this will help someone else discover Dr. Munira.

Little to no discomfort during any of my visits. I give them the insurance info and they take care of everything. Everyone there is very polite and friendly. What I believe sets them apart is their appreciation of your business and it makes me feel like I made the right choice everytime I go there.

Dr. Lokhandwala initially impressed me with her gentle touch, effective use of the latest technology, and sincere desire to get the job done right. The office staff is very friendly and works directly with my insurance provider so that I don't have to think about it. Prior to replacing some old amalgam fillings, they were able to tell me exactly how much the procedures would cost. Over the past year or two, my routine cleaning has been handled by Dr. Hosseini, who always makes an extra effort to ensure that the process is as painless as possible. Dr. Munira is a wonderful person, very professional and caring doctor. We visited Dr. Munira and her staff last week for our 6 year old son's dental work. He had some cavities and he has a bad gag reflux so he needed to be sedated for the dental work. We were worried about the sedation part but Dr. Munira made us feel very comfortable about the whole procedure. She walked us through the whole procedure step by step. My son was afraid of dentist visits but after the last visit he talks about how nice the doctor is and not afraid of the dental visits any more.

I am always very anxious and nervous about going to the dentist, but the doctors and staff at StarBrite are absolutely wonderful! I was in serious need of a dentist when I found out about them on the internet and I am so glad I did! I've had quite a few procedures done (extractions, root canals, and some crowns), all the work has been satisfactory. I referred a friend, and my boyfriend, and they were both taken care of, as well. I had some very difficult dental implants which Dr. Lokhandwala proceeded with extreme care, since I was over 74 when we started. The process of bone graft, to final implant took almost a year, but it was worth the time for this procedure. I am very pleased with my implants. This is the best I have been treated by a dentist, I do recommend her for any dental implants.

I have searched the world for quality, safe and affordable dental implants. I have gone as far as New Delhi, India where I received my initial implants in my lower jaw. I thought the treatment and service in New Delhi was good, but in contrast to that, which I received from Dr. Lokhandwala, there is no comparison. She showed me that she really cared and was compassionate in addressing my specific needs as her patient. I have been a patient of Dr. Munira Lokhandwala fro about 2 yrs now if not a little more and every time I have gone in for Dental work has been a great experience. They make sure you are never in pain and are very clear as to the work they are doing for you. Dr. Lokhandwala and her staff are wonderful. From the

moment you walk into the office you feel welcomed. I heard

about Dr. Lokhandwala from a friend who had said she was

great with children. They do a great job on our teeth and they

are so patient with my children who are always scared when

they go to the dentist. Dr. Lokhandwala also listens to the

concerns of the patient and works with them. In my case,

my husband wasn't all that thrilled about what dental work he

needed done, so she came up with another course of action

he agreed upon. The course of action they took has helped

my husband so much!!! The people who assist are also

wonderful. They try to make you feel comfortable in a

uncomfortable situation. And they do a good job of that.

I've had regular teeth cleanings/check-ups, x-rays, and small cosmetic procedures done by Dr. Lokhandwala. She also extracted one of my wisdom teeth. All my procedures have been greatly successful and relatively painless!

She and her team of doctors are always calm, confident, and warm. They're consistently good about explaining procedures and the pros/cons of various treatments. I always feel like I have not only approved of, but know exactly what they're doing.

The folks at the front desk are excellent about scheduling appointments, following up with reminders, and making adjustments to fit our schedule. My wife and I had Dr. Lokhandwala as our dentist when we lived in the Bay Area. We now live in Sacramento and still commute to Fremont for her services. Understanding and a reasonable level of flexibility is key for us.

I've never had to deal with insurance issues. Once I provided Dr. Lokhandwala's staff my provider's information, I've never had any problems with billing, charges, etc. Their administrative process is straight-forward and really quite effortless.

While playin Squash with my husband ,he accidently knocked his racquet on my teeth and thats how ended up havin a chipped tooth.

I was searchin for a good dentist online and came across Dr. Munira .There were great reviews about her and her staff,thats when I decided to choose Dr. Munira Lokhandwala,to do what was needed for me.

X-Ray was taken to study my case,closely.Dr.Munira,explained to me with all calmness and in a very friendly manner,as to what was wrong.Was not sure if the nerve was damaged,though.Suitable suggestions were made by her and decided on what was apt for me at that moment.Local anesthesia was induced, and she started workin on replacement tooth/Composite.It took about an hour or so to fix my tooth and she had done a perfect job.I walked in,embarrassed and walked out with a big broad smile on my face.She even called up,personally,to make sure if i was doin fine,the next day.

Now,if my tooth hurts or discolours over a period of 1-2 weeks time,then I'm asked to get back .It means,my nerve is damaged and I need to be treated again.Hopin for the best and I'm very confident that I'm in the right hands.

Lastly,it wouldnt be wrong if I called her an angel-so gentle and sweet in every way.

I am embarrassed to say that i have not been to a dentist in over 10 years because of the extreme fear i have had of going to the dentist. Unfortunately i had some real bad experiences in the past and swore i would never go back to a dentist again. (wishful thinking) i broke my tooth the other day and had to find a dentist right away that i could trust and would feel comfortable with and did excellent dental work on your teeth. I found dr. Lokhandwala on the internet after searching for almost a week for a dentist who was highly recommened and had outstanding reviews by patients and found the most wonderful, kind, gentle & caring dentist i have ever been to. (did i mention gentle) i never thought i would say i am no longer afraid of going to the dentist, and after todays appt. Having a crown put on, all my fears are gone. I even have an appt. Set up next week for a filling and i actually look forward to going instead of dreading it. The dr. Is so thorough about explaining each procedure she is going to do next and constantly making sure your are comfortable and not in any pain. She is such a personable and kind hearted person and it really shows how much she cares about her patients.

I recommend Dr. Munira to all my friends and co-workers. She always explains the rpocedure she is doing and tells you what to expect. I think the costs are very reasonable and always tells you upfront what it will cost yoru insureance as well as out of pocket expenses. She does not try to sell your services that you do not need and will let yiu know if the treatemnt can wait rather that do it when it is not necessary. She is great with my kids and they enjoy coming to her. I highly recommend her. Her staff is alwys friendly and work with my time for appointments!

Dr. Lokhandwala and her entire staff were the most professional and caring group of people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They handled my concerns with the upmost respect and the work completed on my daughters teeth was exceptional. My daughter had two Maryland bridges placed and the entire experience and procedure was painless and efficient. They helped with the billing and worked with me to get the financial aspects resolved. As far as the front desk - "Amy" (office manager) did an exceptional job of helping me.

I was having having difficulty finding a dentist when I moved in here from Michigan.

After research and a few trials, I finally landed in Dr munira's office. I have never met such nice caring Doctors as Dr. Lokhandwala and Dr. Hosseini. They are both so gentle while working on your teeth and very attentive to your needs. The best thing about the doctor is that her hands are steady and gentle while working on my teeth. I can sleep while she is working on my teeth with my mouth open :-))

My very first visit, which I can never forget, was an emergency. I had my wisdom tooth crowning at the age of 35 and I had no dental insurance. She willingly accepted me as a patient, gave me good treatment by removing the tooth. Her humanity shines because she understood my financial situation and charged me very reasonably. I am now a working mom with dental insurance and she is our family dentist, that I am proud of.

Last but not the least, Dr. Munira and her staff are great with kids. Both my kids were a little afraid before their first visit but after their first treatment they have begun to trust her as much as I do.

Dr Munira and her staff are great!! I go for regular cleaning, had crowns, tooth extraction, bone grafting, and most recently two implants done. I was dreading implant at first but Dr Munira walked me through the whole procedure, answering all my questions and explaining the various treatment choices and options available, allowing me to make informed decision without any pressure. The whole procedure took about few hours and was not painful at all; just felt slight discomfort having to keeping my mouth open for few hours. The post-surgery recovery was fast, virtually painless, only a minor discomfort for a few days I

I have been looking for a solution to my canker sores and I am extremely happy to say that Starbrite dental is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

I have had canker sores since I was young enough to remember and I have never found a good treatment to rid of the pain or shorten the healing time. I have done a lot of research on the web and by luck I found out about Dr Lokhandwala. I called to see if I can get an appointment on the same day (Sat) and to my surprise the assistant was extremely helpful in facilitating me for a walk-in.

Dr. Lokhandwala was not available due to some seminar so I was attended by another dentist who was extremely gentle and very corteous. She presented me with 2 options to treat my canker sores and asked a brief history about them. Since I had about 6 canker sores, some were too close to my throat they did not want to touch but I had a large one on my tongue and several smaller ones around my inner lip and gum. The tongue and gum were treated chemically and THEY WENT AWAY the following day!!! The other 2 were laser and they did not improve so I know what to request the next time I get them. I also received a follow-up call on the effectiveness. I WILL RECOMMEND EVERYONE!

Great results from invisalign.I got invisalign because I didn't want any teeth pulled, not because I thought I was to cool for braces! Something happened to me with a pulled tooth before Dr. Lokhandwala (infected mouth) I ain't going to lie I was chicken to have 4 teeth pulled. Great choice and great results with invisalign. It was worth the price, and would do it over again. The staff is the best west of the Mississippi make no mistake, and the doctor's have hands like angels. Thanks for the smile!

When my daughter broke her tooth in a fall, our local dentist referred us to a dentist who could do the implant she required. The price was so high, and we knew little of the procedure, so we decided to do a little research. We went to UCSF as part of the search for information. We discovered Dr. Lokhandwala from her internet site. After a phone call speaking directly with her, we realized she was among the most knowledgeable dentists around. Dr. Lokhandwala is the best thing to happen to dentistry! I started seeing her a year ago after many years of not going to the dentist out of fear. I am proud to say that after starting out with her with using conscious sedation and nitrous oxide, I am no longer afraid to go without either. I had no pain with the deep cleaning, numerous filling replacements, new fillings, a crown or four wisdom teeth being pulled. She works with you in every aspect from fear to cost. Over the past year she has treated me like I was her only patient. She is precise, calming, gentle and cares about your whole experience.

My dad in his late 70's was made to glue his broken dentures together, as he was told he could not get new ones until he had bone surgery. I ask Dr. Lokhandwala if she could help my father. She not only saw him that same day, but she gave him hope. In a couple of days my Dad had his new teeth and they have been great ever since. No surgery just good work from Dr. Lokhandwala. She is willing to work with you and come up with great ideas on how to make you comfortable. I have moved to Oregon but I still go to Dr. Lokhandwala for my dentist work. I am pleased to have found StarBrite Dental online! I live in SJ and drive out here to see them but it's worth it!

They're friendly and make my stress and anxiety reduced to almost nothing. (for me that's a major plus because dental visits always cause me TONS of anxiety)

Being a gagger I usually dread going to see dentist due to my previous bad experiences with others and had been putting off finding a new dentist for 2 yrs. I found SBD online and thought I'd give them a try.

I've had terrible experieneces with other local dentists who were truly bad at their craft or bedside manner.

Dr. Lokhandwala's enitre office is genuinely polite, kind, relaxed, and caring. They do not rush your work or belittle your concerns, and use the full variety of numbing agents so you won't have to worry (like I did) about being fully numb. They constantly make sure you are in no pain, and tell you what is going on so you are never surprised. If you want to be treated with the utmost respect and kindness, as well as have a doctor who is acutely aware of the aesthetic aspects of your dental work as well as the functional repair, Dr. Lokhandwala is your best bet. She is also great at showing you what you may need done in the future without pushing or guilting you into more (and potentially expensive) work.

I went to my first dental checkup. Dr. Munira noticed that i am tongue-tied. She offered severing my frenulum from the tip of my tongue to the base of the tongue. I was excited and accepted it. The process took about 15 minutes and i felt perfectly fine during the process. I am thoroughly impressed with Dr. Munira's overall knowledge about the dentistry and mouth parts. The pictures of my teeth taken by Sunitha were also great.

Based on a co-worker's recommendation from my husband's work, I chose Dr. Lokhandwala to install my implants. It is a somewhat new and complicated procedure. Since I had no such experience and did not know how well everything would work, I decided to install only one implant at my first surgery, though I needed two implants. The whole procedure (preparation, anesthesia, surgery itself) took about 2 hours and for the most part was painless. To my surprise, the post-surgery recovery was virtually painless too, only a minor discomfort for a few days, no bleeding, swelling or bruises. There was no need to take antibiotics or use painkillers. I healed well and fast. If I knew I would go through this kind of experience, I would definitely install both implants at once. I believe Dr. Lokhandwala did an excellent job. She undoubtedly deserves to be chosen as your doctor for implant installation.

I got all my wisdom teeth removed in 2 phases and She did an amazing job. I won't say it was painless :) but I recovered without any issues and back in action in few days. I didn't even have to go for the followup visits as the work done was clean, I just verified few things over phone.

Also I got the extraction done in 2 phases to put it under 2 financial year to reduce the out of pocket expense. That saved me some money for sure.

And they are pretty prompt on appointments as I don't like to sit outside for long and customer service is top class.

For someone who would turn around and go home when they got to the parking lot, Dr. Lokhandwala is an angel for me. I have been to her 4 times now. A root canel and 3 crowns and no pain of any kind is anymore needed to really be said. My last two trips I managed to do with no help of drugs to ease my tension. The people all the people are so nice and helpful. I have even made my next 6 month appointment which I have no fear of keeping. If you need a soft touch and a very understanding person to help you with your fears or needs of the dentist this is the one to go to. I looked all over the Bay Area for a dentist with experience with mini implants for dentures. I was sure these finally end her denture pain. I found StarBrite Dental. Dr. Munira made my mother comfortable and assured even though my mom does not speak great English. Dr. Munira and her staff made sure the dental implants and dentures were a perfect fit. My mother was so happy that she hugged Dr. ? (in charge of dentures) and she would have done the same for Dr. Munira had she not been with another patient. I had put off going to the dentist for years but finally had to go since I could not tolerate the pain anymore & needed a Root Canal. Dr Munira was great! She explained the whole process to me in detail & assured me that sedation dentistry really works & that I would not have any pain or recollection of the procedure. This is my third dentist in about 6 year period, and so far she was better then the previous two. She really takes time to discuss your issues in detail, and listen to what you want, and give you recomendations WITH detailed epxlanation why she thinks this or that. That was quite refreshing after my previous dentists were either giving what sounded like a sales pitch or simple "you just need this" short sentences.

Combined with absolutely no complains I have about the quality of work she's done, I would say she should be on the top of your list of choices, unless you find somone else with absolutely rave reviews.

She has a web site where she lists accepted insurance policies, make sure you check that.

Oh, and on unrelated note, she has a very nicely decorated reception area that made me want to ask her who desinged that.

I have been a patient with Dr Lokhandwala since I moved to the Bay area and am a very satisfied patient.

The small touches:

1. The front office and the doctor are very knowledgable about your dental insurance. They will tell you right away what is covered and how much is covered.

2. The waiting area is very modern and while you wait you learn (there are some nice, interesting and informative dental videos)

3. The front office does a good job in reminding you about your appointments ( yes, they send it to me via email)

1. Dr Lokhandwala is a great dentist and now I don't associate the word pain and dentist.

2. She does a great job in explaining the various treatment choices and options available.

3. The Saturday option and late evening option is great for busy people like me.

My wife and I have been Dr. Lokhandwala's patient for a few years. She is highly knowledgeable in her area. She creates a comfortable environment and explains the procedures and alternate options. I've had root canals, fillings, crowns, wisdom teeth removals and regular cleanings done at Starbrite Dental. As a long time canker sore sufferer, I'm also thankful to her for offering me a procedure which takes the pain away instantly.

Front desk is very polite and helpful. Cost is moderate.

My twins and I have been Dr. Lokhadwala's patients for the last 5 years. She is extremely competent and has great knowledge of the dental procedures. She presented me with different options for my treatment and made suggestions for improving my dental health. My 5 year old twins learned a lot from the video they saw of a monkey brushing his teeth. It was perfect for their attention span. I would highly recommend her to all my family and friends.

Dr. Lokhandwala is great,

I really don't like going to the dentist (As if anybody dose)but she makes it ok. You can tell that she really cares and your not just someone for her to make money off of. I really like how she will take the time and explaine everything to you and let you know if there is more then one way to help you with your problem. She has been the best dentist that I can remeber ever going to. I'm glad she that she is here and it is well worth the drive.

My family and I have been Dr. Lokhandwala's patients for 6 years. We have been so happy with the quality of her work that we chose her over a pediatric dentist for our 6- and 4-year olds. When I first came to Dr. Lokhandwala's office I had a patchwork of fillings (I had a sweet tooth when I was a kid). You would not know it if you met me today :-). I have not had any new cavities in a while now.

Facilities: Latest equipment/tools. I love the LCD panels that show videos and dental charts. Also thankful for the entertainment options in the waiting area. Last visit, they had to pry my sons and myself from the Sinbad movie.

Reception staff: Polite, efficient. have made it to most my appointments thanks to their timely reminders.

Location: Two blocks from my home. can't beat the convenience. Love the Saturday option.

The procedure is very clean and there is hardly any pain. The cost to me has been very nominal and i hardly have to pay anything as copayment. The front desk is very cordial and helpful.

Once I gave the insurance number the front desk did everything for me.

I have been Dr. Lokhandwala's patient for about 4+ yrs now. The best thing I find about StarBrite Dental is the ambience, relaxing atmosphere, courteous and knowledgeable staff, and very reasonable treatment costs. Apart from regular cleaning, I have also had problems with chipped front teeth requiring cosmetic treatment. I am glad I had a great Dr who not only explained to me the details of my treatment and preventive dentistry but also did a great job to get my smile back.
