Dr. Hema Patel attended New York University for Advanced Education in General and Restorative dentistry and earned her Doctors degree in Dental Surgery. She also attended Gujarat University in India and received her Doctors degree in Dental Sciences. She completed comprehensive General Dentistry Residency at the same University prior to joining New York University. These residencies encompassed all aspects of dentistry including restorative, periodontal and surgical specialties.
As an active member of American Dental Association, Dr. Patel continually completes advanced education to remain at the forefront of comprehensive dental treatment. Dr. Patel is also a member of California Dental Association. She serves the board of directors for Southern Alameda County Dental Society and for Indian Dental Association of Northern California. She is committed to providing his patients with only the best care possible and he offers a variety of restorative and preventive dental services to his patients. All treatment plans are designed by Dr. Patel in an effort to extend the life of your teeth and improve your overall dental health.
Dr. Patel participates frequently in community outreach services, volunteers for community health fairs, writes dental health related columns for community newsletters and magazines and enjoys her free time with her husband and two children.
